Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2, 2026
These are the rules for using MoveClerk — the crew-management app for moving companies. MoveClerk lets you schedule jobs, dispatch crews, track hours and pay, handle quotes and invoices, take booking requests on your own public booking page, and get help from an in-app AI assistant. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Your account
- You must give accurate signup information and keep your login details safe. You're responsible for everything done under your account.
- Each company gets its own private workspace with its own database — your data is never mixed with another company's.
- You represent that you are legally able to enter into this agreement (18 or older, or the legal age where you live). We don't check your age when you sign up — by creating an account you're telling us you meet this requirement.
Pricing and billing
- 30-day free trial. Every new company starts with a 30-day free trial. A card is required at signup; you're charged $65/month or $650/year on day 31. Cancel during the trial and you're never charged.
- Month-to-month or yearly, cancel anytime. Subscriptions have no contracts and no setup fees. You can cancel anytime from the app; your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period, then stops.
- Card payments are processed by Stripe. MoveClerk never sees or stores your card number.
- No refunds for abuse or fraud. Accounts suspended or terminated for abuse, fraud, or breaking these terms are not entitled to refunds.
Acceptable use
- Don't use MoveClerk for anything illegal.
- Don't spam anyone — no bulk unsolicited messages through the app's email, texting, or notification features.
- Don't try to access another company's data, break into other accounts, or probe the service for weaknesses.
- Don't upload content you don't have the right to use, or anything harmful (viruses, malware).
- Don't resell, rent, or sublicense your MoveClerk access to others.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, break these terms, commit fraud, or put other customers' data at risk. If your account is suspended, your logins stop working; the account owner can contact us to appeal. You can stop using MoveClerk and delete your data anytime — email hello@moveclerk.com.
Your data
- You own your data. What you enter — company info, crew info including pay rates, customer and job details, photos, quotes, invoices, expenses — stays yours.
- Crew members (leads and movers) see only their own pay: their own pay rate and their own hours and earnings. Job amounts, expenses, truck costs, and other crew members' pay are hidden from crew and visible only to the company's owner and partner.
- We keep nightly backups of the databases for 7 days so a failure doesn't lose your business.
- How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
The service, as-is
MoveClerk is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will never go down or be error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the issue — and we're never liable for indirect losses like lost profits.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as MoveClerk grows. If the changes matter, we'll say so in the app. Continuing to use MoveClerk after a change means you accept the new terms.
